Recurring is what changes everything. A one-time commission pays you once; here, every referred customer pays every month for as long as they stay subscribed. At the 40% founding rate:

Two honest footnotes, because affiliate pages that skip them are lying by omission:
- Churn exists. A SaaS customer does not stay subscribed forever. Your real earnings depend on the retention of the customers you send: a well-qualified customer who gets results stays for months, a poorly targeted curious one leaves at the second charge. All the more reason to promote with honest content that attracts the right profiles.
- The $9 first month means your first commission payment on a Pro customer will be around $3.60, before moving to about $39 from month two. Recurring income builds up, it does not explode on day one.

The classic beginner temptation is the "Distribb promo code" page, easy to rank. It is precisely what gets accounts terminated: coupon pages capture last-click buyers who had already decided, without adding anything. Serious programs ban them, this one is no exception.
